Tana Alexander is a Texas native, she was born in San Antonio, Texas and received her Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from Texas A&M Corpus Christi, with a focus in oil painting. She is currently exploring a meditative process of personal reflection and healing. Through the use of flora and fauna she isolates two metaphorical entities in search of resolution, at times growth seems evident, and coexisting in the same place seems possible, but what these two seek is unattainable. The combative struggle is not always evident but deep rooted and hidden in the isolation of the two metaphorical entities that are in a timeless tango.
